Who still thinks the tongue isn't powerful?


This may change your mind...


Some time ago, when I was still in high school, just few weeks to my graduation, I was having a conversation with my classmates and then I started complaining about the emptiness of life


"This life is really useless o" I told them


"You'll do everything, study, read hard, work hard, sweat to make a living, just to die in the end and leave everything behind" 


"In fact, if death comes to take me now I wouldn't mind...because there's no need to live when everything you do in life would just be forgotten totally when you die" I had said


They immediately started rebuking me...


"Why would you be wishing for death?" One asked


"Please don't say that o...don't die abeg" another added


The matter ended.


Few days later, I fell seriously ill...tests showed that it was malaria... symptoms were severe and I was really down


I started taking antimalarial drugs but after I completed my dosage twice, there was still no relief...


I started praying seriously against death and when I didn't get any better I got really scared 


It was after the third round of malaria treatment that I started getting better...


Then I realised just how much effect our tongue has on our lives, a positive mouth results to a positive life while the negative mouth will result to negative life


Speak positive and live positive...
