African Family: Part 13

..."Jeeesus!!!" I heard Favour shout from her room

I pretended not to hear it and laid down on my bed, while other members of the family went to check on her...

"What happened?"

"Are you okay?"...was all I was hearing

I went out of my room to check on her a few seconds later when I started hearing sobs...

Favour was crying

"What happened?" I asked with a serious look of concern on my face, Favour was already explaining how she plugged her phone and couldn't tell how the socket got switched off

I just kept a blank face but I was trying so hard not to laugh

Time was 7:00 already and her battery was totally flat so there was no way she could join the group's online meeting... meaning she was automatically deselected and would not be joining the choir for the youth programme

Haha, it's now 1-1...prank pass prank

Daddy told her not to worry because he would give the three of us money to go for the programme, but we children knew what it meant to be sponsored by the church...so she remained sad

I let out my laughter immediately mummy and daddy went back to their room

Turns out Emma was an agent too because he also started laughing with me...

Favour stormed into her room in annoyance while me and Emma continued laughing

Emmanuel even brought his laptop to the parlour and played ministrations of our church choir continuously

Favour didn't come out of her room until about thirty minutes later, she headed to daddy's room with a phone

The phone was obviously dad's own so I wondered what she was doing with it...she also seemed to be smiling

I and Emmanuel were trying to understand what was happening, but it became more clear when she got into the room and handed the phone to daddy

"Daddy thank you" she said happily

"Did they still accept you?" That was my mum's voice

"Yes"

...TBC...
