...I went to the kitchen to meet her,
"Yes mummy" I answered as I got there...
"Did I not ask you to put salt in this pot, where is the salt?"
"You said I should put salt in the big pot na, I did as you told me, I added salt to that big pot on the table where the old soup is"
"Ehn!?" She shouted...
"I asked you to put salt in the big pot on the fire and not the one on the table" she continued...
"If that soup turns out to be too salty, we will leave it for you to finish"
Immediately, I started praying that the soup should not be too salty because I know what mum can do
"Get me the salt container let me add salt to this stew, I don't know why you can't use your head" it was mum again...
I went to get the salt container for her and then I went to my room and embarked on intense prayer for the soup to turn out good... from there I slept off.
Few hours later, my elder sister woke me up with a tap
"Victor, food is ready o, it's like you don't want to eat"
"I'm coming abeg" I told her while I stretched out, still on the bed
I went to the dining room and everybody was already there, I settled in and started eating...
Soon, my sister, Favour spat out her food
Then my brother followed...
Mum just looked at me and smiled
